AMAZING WOLLUMBIN PALMS RETREAT AT MT WARNING
Mount Warning in northern New South Wales is arguably the most striking and recognisable landmark on the east coast of Australia – fashioned from volcanic activity back in the mists of time.
In this warm and fertile place Amazing Wollumbin Palms Retreat was created for just three couples at a time. Spread over 80 acres of pristine rainforest adjoining a World Heritage-listed National Park, the retreat comprises three luxurious lodges each with their own character and each offering absolute privacy, perfect for that romantic break away or honeymoon.
The Sir Joseph Banks Lodge nestles high in the rainforest and is 12 sided with a self-supporting roof and is fashioned from eight different native timbers. You’ll reach it via a its own 16 metre footbridge.
King’s Lodge is created around a 300 yr old Javanese Prayer Room from a Kings Palace, complete with carved, vaulted teak ceilings, carved doors, breezeway with spa and koi pond over looking a beautiful lake and pergola, there are lots of special things about this lodge.
Altwood Lodge is completely different from the other two, crafted in rock, stone and timber will full glass front and rear walls affording incredible views to Mt Warning. It has a private courtyard at the rear, with its own shower and grotto for the spa.
There’s even a traditional gazebo/ pavilion for small weddings. You won’t find a more romantic setting than this.
